Erratic by Johnstone's Ditch
Erratic by Johnstone's Ditch
If any proof were needed that this landscape was shaped by ice, this erratic provides it. It is composed of very coarse foliated granite, possibly from Inchbae, carried here on a sheet of ice and left behind when the ice melted. The surrounding area has numerous smaller boulders of the same type of rock.
