Island, River Taw
Island, River Taw
What appears to be the right bank of the Taw in SS5826 : Bishop’s Tawton: the Taw and SS5826 : The Taw at Chapelton is revealed to be an island. Erosion on the left has caused the slumping of a bank. Downstream is Kippesleigh Wood, on the slopes where the valley bends west. Taken from SS5826 : Footbridge across the River Taw.
