Former hospital and workhouse, Stone
This is the former Trent Hospital and before that the Stone Workhouse, built 1793. Now flats. A relatively sympathetic adaptive reuse. Shame about the balconies. Photographed from the Trent & Mersey Canal towpath, holding the camera over the wall - seen bottom right.
