Inside the nacelle of Tower No 18

This is a rare view of the inside of the nacelle that the public will never see.
It houses the generator, gearbox, disk brake and rotor shaft.
This nacelle is now attached to the top of Tower No 18.
It already contained the 2.5 kW generator at the rear of the compartment while SD8318 : Gearbox , Rotor Shaft and Disk Brake were lifted into place once the nacelle had been attached to the top of the tower.
On the day this picture was taken all work was suspended due to gale force winds.
