Northala Fields mound viewed from another mound
Northala Fields mound viewed from another mound
Two of the conical mounds at Northala fields are available for the public to view. For a photo in June 2005 when the project started see TQ1283 : Northala Fields Building Site by the Target Roundabout, Northolt. By November 2006 some of the mounds had taken shape (see TQ1283 : Northala Fields conical mounds as public art), filled with demolition material from Wembley Stadium and White City. The photograph is taken from the biggest mound which has a gently rising spiral walkway to the top. Three turns of the spiral can be seen in the foreground. Beyond is a grassy mound open to the public but with no marked path.
