Shafts of sunlight through trees above Dimples, Macclesfield Forest
Low afternoon sunlight was penetrating the dense forest sending in rays of light almsot like spot lights. The snow in the forest canopy had started to melt causing it to 'rain' within the forest and large patches of snow high up in the trees were splatting on the ground in thuds. It was quite an unusual experience.
