Blackstone rocks
Blackstone rocks
These low lying rocks lie just off Gullshore Point in the Severn Estuary. They look as though they are attached to the mainland, but this is at low-tide and it would be foolhardy to attempt to cross the tidal mudflats and saltmarsh to reach them. In the 1930s Mesolithic flint tools were found on the rocks.
