After weddings at the Malvern Registration Office in the Council House, (behind camera) it is usual for the bride and groom to head down here for photographs.
This square and its neighbour to the west cover a part of the Malvern Hills with an extraordinary density of bridleways. There is a square kilometre here (not coincident with the grid square) which is a very strong candidate for the title of 'greatest length of public rights of way per sq km anywhere in England and Wales'.
