Huntington Green
Huntington Green
Around 1971 Ashford Carbonel enjoyed its experiment with expanding housing. A series of small houses were built here in a field that was previously used as grazing for a dairy farm, as well as a more upscale development on two very poor fields off Donkey Lane. (The Hayles)
That was it. Since that date, house building has been restricted to infill in orchards and gardens, often on the land of the many former smallholdings, or barn conversions such as the one at Court Farm.
