Millennium Festival Trail: Watergate House - No 32
The Chester Millennium Festival Trail is a route that was created in the year 2000, and which winds through the city passing 40 buildings of architectural interest. This marker is named WATERGATE HOUSE and is No 32. It is set into the pavement in front of Watergate House on the corner of Watergate Street and Nicholas Street Mews. Thomas Harrison, the architect who designed Chester Castle, also designed this house for a friend around 1820. This plaque, which is away from the main thoroughfares, has not been polished in the way that some of them have.
The next plaque on the trail is: SJ4066 : Millennium Festival Trail: Queen's School - No 33
