Church of St John the Baptist, Kingston Vale
Church of St John the Baptist, Kingston Vale
The church was built in 1861 to the designs of Edward Christian. The parish was then known as Robin Hood. It was later renamed as Kingston Vale. St John's is a small building with a short nave and side aisles and apsidal chancel containing stained glass windows of the four Patron Saints of the British Isles. The building was extended to the south (left of photo) in 2000 to provide meeting room, toilet and kitchen facilities.
