Former bowling green and the Anchorite's Cell
Former bowling green and the Anchorite's Cell
This once popular bowling green by the Groves is no longer in use, and the pavilion has fallen into disrepair. The historic Anchorite's Cell can be seen standing on its plinth of sandstone and overlooking the River Dee.
