Clifton Suspension bridge
Brunel's famous suspension bridge took 33 years to build, due to technical problems and arguments over funding. Brunel took on the commission to design and engineer the bridge when he was 24. It was his first major work and he died before it was completed. Nowadays there's a pretty park on the east side and woodland walks on the west.
