North aisle window, Eastwell church
North aisle window, Eastwell church
This three light window is of the late Decorated style and is in the east wall of the north aisle. During the Civil War and the subsequent Commonwealth period in the 17th century many churches were stripped of their Catholic finery. This included the destruction of stained glass windows and their replacement with plain glass. This window contains fragments of stained glass recovered from the churchyard. See SK7728 : Window detail, Eastwell church.
