Worcestershire Way Indicator
Worcestershire Way Indicator
On Lady Howard de Walden's Drive high up on the eastern side of North Hill. The Pear is the symbol of Worcestershire. The Black Pear, supposedly planted by Queen Elizabeth I when visiting Worcester, requires long slow cooking before being edible.
