The Lion Dance
The Lion Dance
This is part of the Chinese Dragon Festival in Bank Street, Galashiels, held on the 2nd February 2008 and organised by the Borders Chinese Cultural Association to celebrate the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Rat. Bank Street was closed for 2 hours to allow the festival, that included a dragon dance, a lion dance and chinese market, to take place. The dancing performers were from the Glasgow Hong Lok Dragon and Lion Dancing Troupe.
