The First Flight Ticket Office at Brooklands
In 1911 the World's first flight ticket office was built at Brooklands in Weybridge, Surrey. This consisted of a simple brick built hut operated by Keith Prowes Ltd up to World War One. Here passengers flights in biplanes around Brooklands cost about a pound. The hut is now an exhibit in Brooklands Museum
