NN6560 : Meall Dubh

taken 10 years ago, near to Kinloch Rannoch, Perth And Kinross, Great Britain

Meall Dubh
Meall Dubh
An outlying top of Beinn a' Chuallaich that rises steeply behind Kinloch Rannoch.
A series of quartzite bands leads to ridges standing proud of the moorland. These continue up Carn Fiaclach and were a blessing, as the wind had blown the snow off them.
