Sheep walking Glyndwr's Way
Sheep walking Glyndwr's Way
A flock of sheep at Pen y Banc appears to be setting off southwards on Glyndwr's Way, which follows the line of trees onto the wide grassy ridge of Cefn Modfedd. Glyndwr's Way is a National Trail LinkExternal link from Knighton (SO2872 : Knighton, Clock Tower.) via Machynlleth (SH7400 : Machynlleth Town Clock) to Welshpool (SJ2207 : High Street), crossing the Cambrian Mountains twice en route. It is named in honour of Owain Glyndwr, the last domestic Prince of Wales, who held a parliament at Machynlleth (SH7400 : Owain Glyndwr's parliament) in 1404.
