The plaque on the wall reads "Sun Hotel formerly known as The Little Inn made famous by Chas. Dickens in his travels thro' Kent Built 1503" It has been a jeweller's shop for many years. Sun Street runs around the south east side of the Cathedral precinct from the Butter Market into Palace Street.
