The York Railwayman's Institute
The York Railwayman's Institute
A tall brick building, which dominates over the C19th cottages on Queen Street. The girder bridge (with a 12ft height restriction) to the raised level front door is an unusual feature, and was built when the carriageway was lifted to its current level.
