Racecourse colliery sinking engine house
Racecourse colliery sinking engine house
Just as in the real old world, Racecourse Colliery had a sinking engine followed by a permanent winding engine. The corrugated iron shed contained a horizontal duplex winch and vertical boiler. The lean-to (front left) housed a little engine belt driving a ventilating fan. All very competent.
