The entrance to the pub is in Wine Office Court. Here, some lunchtime customers enjoy a lunchtime pint on a warm summer's day. The large white sign next to the door lists the Kings and Queens that have sat on the throne since the pub was rebuilt in 1667. There have been few changes inside, except for a new basement bar which was built in response to the pub's popularity.
