St. Brides
St. Brides
The nave was destroyed by bombing during the second world war. This rebuilt part of the church was designed by Godfrey Allen. The stained glass depicting the risen Christ and the paintings were designed by Glyn Jones, who also did the paintings. Information from the brief church tour guide. The piano is in place for a lunchtime recital - these are a regular occurrence in St. Brides except during the Lent period.
