This steep sided cwm is not named, but it ought to have a name so as the hillside above is called Byrgwm this seems appropriate. The road across the moors from Llanhilledd to Abersychan follows this cwm into the valley. As can be seen it is very steep and there is a substantial line of boulders on the down slope side to prevent cars veering off the road down into the cwm.
