West ridge, CÓrn Dearg
CÓrn Dearg is the place where the east-west watershed of Scotland ends. North of here there are the east - north to Dunnet or Duncansby Head, or west - north to Cape Wrath. Somebody tried to claim a first traverse once by insisting that the Duncansby version was the one true path. He looked very foolish and was not even first to do that. Very easy walking on Meallan Liath Coire Mhic Dhughaill.
