The ground is the home of the Shenley Cricket Centre LinkExternal link and of Shenley Village Cricket Club LinkExternal link The ground is an occasional venue for high profile matches and during the 2008 season it will host the Women's One-Day International between England and India. The 19th century pavilion was built to the designs of W G Grace for the Porter family who owned substantial landholdings around Shenley at the time.
