Rheidol Backwater
Rheidol Backwater
This was an earlier course of the Rheidol but the river has now been diverted. Gravel extraction took place here in the early days of the Vale of Rheidol Railway and a siding ran to the riverbank here to allow the gravel to be hauled away. No trace of the siding now remains.
