SS8146 : Robber's Bridge from the West

taken 16 years ago, near to Oare, Somerset, England

Robber's Bridge from the West
Robber's Bridge from the West
Looking along Weir Water, the dark shadows beneath little Robber's Bridge can be seen. This very narrow bridge is on the lane which runs along the valley bottom, before it climbs quite steeply to meet the A39 at Oare Post. The brook seen here is called Weir Water at this point and doesn't become Oare Water until joined by Chalk Water at Oareford Bridge, 500 yds (450m) to the west.
