SK4930 : Red Hill

taken 10 years ago, near to Ratcliffe on Soar, Nottinghamshire, Great Britain

Red Hill
Red Hill
The hill gets its name from the red mudstone strata exposed by the erosion by the River Soar which passes at its foot.
As can be seen, this is becoming a favoured location for expensive weekend houses.
