Smeaton Lake
Smeaton Lake
This area was once a muddy bog. Excavation of the lake was completed in 1830. Curling matches were played in Winter, the last game having been played in 1982. Many unusual trees have been planted. This year pupils at East Linton Primary School are using the area as a wild place to study for their John Muir Award.
