The chapel has not been used for many years but its fine internal furnishings remain intact. Box pews are arranged to follow the line of the five-sided gallery above, which is supported on marble columns. The first chapel dates from 1769 but there were later rebuildings. It was clearly designed to accommodate a substantial congregation.
