Limestone pinnacle, Heaste
Karst scenery is rare in Scotland. There is a band of limestone in the northwest and this passes through the eastern part of Skye. Easily recognisable by the contrast between the greener vegetation on the limestone and the usual acid bog. This pinnacle is a landmark on the moorland road into Heaste from Broadford.
