The engine house with tall window contains a very incompletely erected McNaught compounded beam engine. A great pity that it hasn't been finished after more than 30 years. The whitewashed building on the right contains the mill's steam fire pump. This is a very tight fit and not on public display - it can be glimpsed through the windows.
