Barn in Thorpe
Barn in Thorpe
At first glance, this barn looks good enough to have been built as a chapel with its arched windows and weathervane. However, the other sides of the building are definitely 'barn', so it must have been built as such. Note the niche high on the gable end, complete with carved face, the date 1793 and the initials WIH.
