Black Rock is an imposing rock formation over looking Cromford and the Matlock valleys and is popular with climbers. Its set in its own reserve with many walks and is located right next to the High Peak trail. The views from the top are impressive. The area of scree shown in the image is mine waste as lead mining used to take place here.
