Stippy Stappy Lane
Stippy Stappy Lane
This steep terrace of houses was built when St Agnes had a working harbour at Trevaunance Cove just down the hill from here. They were built to be ships captains houses. In his Poldark novels, Winston Graham took this lane, name and all, and put it in his fictional village of St Anne's.
