St James Park
St James Park
Known locally as The Racecourse, there are many football pitches at St James Park. Horse racing used to take place here, the Silver Bells being one of the races. The trophy is reputedly the oldest surviving horse race trophy in Britain and is housed in the nearby Paisley museum.

The cancelled Glasgow Airport Rail Link (GARL) was planned to cross the park on a viaduct. The tractors are working on test bores for the foundations of the viaduct. The red tails of two aircraft (the now defunct flyglobespan.com) can be seen in the distance.
