Old railway bridge at Harpton
Old railway bridge at Harpton
This bridge took the branch line from Kington to New Radnor over the lane. The line closed in 1962 and the embankment is now heavily wooded. Before closure it was possible to take a carriage from New Radnor all the way to London without changing.
