taken 16 years ago, near to Oxley, Wolverhampton, England

Birchlings and Bridges, Wolverhampton
Birchlings and Bridges, Wolverhampton
The thirty metres or so of land bordering the canal has been planted with birch trees in this grassy recreational area. The Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal goes under the arches; the mainline railway to Telford and Shrewsbury, and the defunct branchline to Wombourne and Stourbridge occupy the far and near arches respectively.
