taken 16 years ago, near to Coton, Cambridgeshire, England

Site clearance
Site clearance
Site clearance for the new Kavli Institute for Cosmology building. The arc of tree stumps traces out the site of the Newall Telescope dome (located here 1891-1955), the centre of which was later marked by the plinth of the sculpture 'Pulse'. The photograph was taken from an upstairs window of the Institute of Astronomy, Corfield Wing.
