The Palace at Falkland
Looked after by the National Trust for Scotland, the Royal Palace of Falkland is almost French to look and has its roots way back in history - King James II adopted it as his royal home. It has some fantastic gardens and is well worth a visit, as is Falkland and the surrounding area.
