SM9919 : Flood channel at New Bridge

taken 10 years ago, near to Crundale, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro, Great Britain

Flood channel at New Bridge
Flood channel at New Bridge
The river divides here and runs through two widely spaced arches with an artificial channel between them to spread the flow when the water is high. This appears to be of newer construction than the bridge which, despite its name, must be of a considerable age.
