Eglwys Hywyn Sant
A pair of kneelers in SH1726 : Eglwys Hywyn Sant wedi'i hatgyweirio - St Hywyn's Church after refurbishment.
The one on the left shows Ynys Enlli and its lighthouse. The religious community on the island was closely connected with Aberdaron and its church.
The one on the right bears the name Afallon (Avalon in English spelling) reflecting the local belief that King Arthur was killed in battle by Medraut (Mordred) near Porth Cadlan, and his body carried to the island by monks.
