SO8454 : Worcester Railway Bridge

taken 16 years ago, near to Worcester, Worcestershire, England

Worcester Railway Bridge
Worcester Railway Bridge
Taking the railway over the River Severn towards Malvern.
This bridge was built in 1905 to replace the elegant three span bridge built in 1859.
The equilateral triangle arrangement of the struts is a good example of a Warren Truss.
