The Cheshire Regiment Memorial to the men and officers who died 1939-1945 is located in the memorial garden in the grounds of the cathedral. On the right is The Addleshaw Tower, which houses the bells of the cathedral and was the first detached cathedral bell tower to be built since the Middle Ages.
