Milk Street, Exeter
Milk Street, Exeter
The somewhat brutalist post-war architecture of St George's Hall and the market slightly mollified on a sunny morning. In fact, Milk Street was totally destroyed in the May 1942 blitz, and this replacement acts as an alleyway linking Fore Street (behind the camera) with the rebuilt George Street (also actually built along the line of the former Milk Street).
