Bowl barrows on Corfe Common
Bowl barrows on Corfe Common
There are three bowl barrows on this part of Corfe Common, to the east of the B3069 road. They are all visible in this photograph. The barrow in the middle of the photo is about 10 metres in diameter and about half a metre tall - only traces of its quarry ditch remain. The other two are further away, to the left of the previous barrow, lit by the low sunlight.
