Built in 1993, these defences protect the village from going the same way as Hallsands further south.
Beesands :: SX8140
Beesands is a small village on the coast halfway between Torcross and Start Point in South Devon. Earliest records are from the 1500s. Today a small fishing and crabbing is carried out, but tourism is the main function.
