SP9213 : Startopsend Reservoir
Tring, Hertfordshire, Great Britain

Startopsend Reservoir
This is one of the four reservoirs which store water to supply the Grand Union Canal, the others being SP9213 : Marsworth Reservoir, SP9113 : Tringford Reservoir and Wilstone (see SP9013 : The heron waits at Wilstone). Most of this reservoir - and the trees seen on the far bank - are in the adjacent square to the west - for a view from this far side see SP9113 : Marsworth across Startopsend Reservoir. However this view concentrates on the nearby water which has attracted numerous gulls.
